Developer

• Contract term: 6 months initially
• Location: Sydney hybrid
• Mandatory: Baseline Security Clearance

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Developer with a Baseline Security Clearancewho can also contribute across the full stack. The ideal candidate has solid front-end experience using and is comfortable working across backend services APIs and cloud environments. Experience withJava Spring BootandAWS Cloudis a strong plus.

Mandatory Requirements

• Candidates must be an Australian citizen with a current AGSVA Baseline security clearance.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with
• Strong understanding of JavaScript ES6 HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with REST APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
• Understanding of full-stack application architecture
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience withJava Spring Bootfor backend development
• Experience developing and deploying applications onAWS Cloud(Lambda EC2 S3 API Gateway RDS etc.)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with Docker or containerized environments
• Basic DevOps understanding is a plus

Whats on offer

This contract is available for an initial 6-month term with likely extension on a long term project. Located in Sydney this role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
