What are we looking for

Traditional Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration project management or related field
  • Five years of experience as a business analyst or related work
  • Other combinations of education or experience may be substituted.

  • Working knowledge of how learning management talent management and applicant tracking systems support organizational goals.

Our Cloud Services team oversees a diverse suite of tools and technologies offering you the chance to engage in a broad range of meaningful workfrom system analysis solution design and configuration to change management user training and strategic communication. Whether youre passionate about solving complex problems or empowering users through technology this role provides the variety challenge and growth youre looking for. This role requires a versatile professional with a strong blend of technical acumen analytical thinking and stakeholder engagement skills to support and optimize the State of Montanas Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Cloud Services. The position centers on leveraging cloud-based platforms such as Oracle Taleo Oracle Talent Management Cloud Oracle Learning Management Cloud and Oracle Service Cloud to enhance HR operations across state agencies by performing the following duties:

Training & Knowledge Transfer

  • Design and manage online training resources to support user adoption and system literacy.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and training sessions to end-user and super-user audiences tailoring content to varying levels of technical expertise.

Stakeholder Communication & Change Management

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to inform end users about system updates enhancements and issue resolutions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business units project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Business Analysis & Process Optimization

  • Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to assess business needs and translate them into system requirements.
  • Conduct end-to-end business process analysis and testing to identify inefficiencies recommend improvements and assess the impact of system upgrades or modifications.
  • Collaborate with IT specialists to validate technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.

Performance Improvement & Team Strategy

  • Evaluate team performance metrics and identify opportunities for process refinement.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance team efficiency output quality and service delivery across HRIS functions.
