Our client is seeking a Temporary Bookkeeper for a 3-week contract to handle bookkeeping up to Balance Sheet level.
Salary and Benefits:
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the balance sheet ensuring all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts (cash debtors creditors fixed assets accruals prepayments etc.).
- Investigate and clear outstanding items discrepancies and reconciliation variances.
- Process journals and adjustments as required.
- Support month-end close activities and provide reports to the Finance Manager.
- Verify supporting documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with any ad-hoc bookkeeping tasks related to the assignment.
Key Skills:
- High accuracy attention to detail and strong reconciliation ability.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks within tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with strong Balance Sheet knowledge.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Pastel QuickBooks Sage) and Excel.
