Were hiring an Airframe Structures Design Engineer to join a Fortune 100 aerospace & defence leader-Lockheed Martin Aeronautics-working onsite in Fort Worth TX on the cutting-edge F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program.
This is a 1-year W2 contract (strong potential for extension or full-time conversion).
Pay Range: $70 $110/hr (W-2) - You choose your requested rate within this range.
Schedule: 4/10 (Four 10-hour days Fridays OFF)
Location: 100% Onsite Fort Worth TX
Must be a U.S. Citizen
No Security Clearance Required
Role: Airframe Structures Design Engineer (CATIA V5 / PDM)
As part of the F-35 engineering team you will apply deep technical expertise to design and develop aircraft structural components-supporting one of the worlds most advanced fighter aircraft systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Create/modify primary & secondary structural parts assemblies installations and interface control models/documents.
- Support development testing and validation of structural designs.
- Contribute to requirements creation trade studies SOWs and test plans.
- Collaborate with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and external suppliers.
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years in control surface design
Minimum 5 years with CATIA V5
Minimum 5 years with PDM
Minimum 5 years designing/modifying structural components assemblies & installations
U.S. Citizenship required (no clearance needed)
