Job Description & Skill Requirement:
1. Layout Engineer
Employment Type: Contract - 4 months (January-April 2026) with possible 2-month extension
Role Overview:
The Layout Engineer will lead facility layout redesign and material flow optimization to support increased throughput. This role requires expertise in AutoCAD and experience with mid-scale layout changes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and validate facility layout proposals to optimize material flow.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement layout changes.
Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomic standards during redesign.
Support installation and cutover activities with minimal production disruption.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar layout design tools.
5 years of experience in layout design and optimization
Experience with mid-scale layout changes in manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule for All Roles:
On-site presence required Monday-Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
Meetings may occur after shift (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM).
Occasional Friday/Saturday work for major cutovers and installations.
