The Role: Maintenance Supervisor
This role exists to ensure the smooth safe and reliable running of all building facilities and production equipment with a strong focus on detergent filling lines and related machinery. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities diagnosing faults executing repairs and implementing preventive maintenance routines. The position plays a critical role in minimising downtime and supporting uninterrupted production in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute daily maintenance activities across all equipment facilities and utilities

Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns to reduce downtime
-
Maintain service and optimise detergent filling machinery and other production equipment
-
Conduct routine inspections and implement preventative maintenance schedules

Manage maintenance logs checklists shutdown planning and SHEQ compliance records
-
Supervise junior maintenance staff and coordinate external contractors
-
Manage and monitor critical spares inventory
-
Support production teams with technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency
About You
-
5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
-
Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background
-
Hands-on experience with filling or packing machinery (detergent chemical FMCG or similar)
-
Proven fault-finding ability across mechanical pneumatic and basic electrical systems
-
Experience supervising maintenance teams or technicians
-
Solid knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and safety regulations
-
Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive on-the-floor approach
-
Able to work under pressure in a high-volume fast-paced production environment
-
Organised communicative and safety-conscious with high attention to detail
