Role Objective:-
To drive sales growth and brand visibility for the chocolate portfolio by managing key accounts expanding retail coverage and executing strategic sales initiatives across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across general trade and modern trade channels.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability visibility and promotional execution.
- Identify and onboard new retailers and outlets to expand market reach.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors retailers and institutional buyers.
- Resolve trade issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide after-sales support and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activity pricing and promotional strategies.
- Analyse sales data and prepare reports on strike rate outlet productivity and coverage.
- Share actionable insights with the sales manager to refine strategies.
Merchandising & Brand Promotion
- Ensure proper placement of POS materials and display units.
- Support execution of trade promotions sampling drives and festive campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing teams for localized brand activations.
Qualifications & Experience
Criteria Requirement
- Education Bachelors degree in business Marketing or related field
- Experience 3-6 years in FMCG sales preferably in chocolate or confectionery
- Skills - Sales negotiation client servicing merchandising data analysis
- Tools-MS Excel CRM platforms DMS (Distributor Management System)
