Camberwell Grammar School is an independent Anglican day school for boys from Pre-Preparatory to Year 12. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head of Soccer who will be responsible for the leadership and strategic development of the Schools Soccer Program from Years 712.
You will be responsible for providing leadership and consistency across the soccer program by developing players guiding coaches and setting clear standards. You will also assist in delivering structured training game preparation and specialised skill-building sessions. Overall ensuring high standards of coaching player development and program alignment with the schools sporting philosophy and values.
The role also supports staff and student engagement fosters community connections and contributes to the long-term success of Soccer at CGS.
This is a seasonal contract commencing February 2026.
The Head of Soccer is a casual leadership position requiring a significant commitment across pre-season and in-season periods. The expected time requirements are as follows:
Pre-season (last weeks of Term 1):
o Plan and implement pre-season training sessions and/or trials across year levels.
o Up to four sessions per week (morning 7:00-8:00am or afternoon 3:30-5:00pm).
In-season (Terms 2-3):
o Attend and support year-level training sessions across the program (Monday-Thursday mornings and/or afternoons).
o Attend AGSV Round matches (9 weeks up to 4 hours each Saturday morning).
Planning and Administration:
o Ongoing program planning communication and review responsibilities outside training and match times (approximately 2-4 hours per week).
