Are you a skilled Lead Geospatial Analyst looking for a challenging and mission-aligned role Resolve Recruit is partnering with a prominent Commonwealth Government agency to engage an expert in data visualisation and geospatial applications for a critical long-term program.

In this role you will contribute to the design deployment and maintenance of enterprise geospatial systems that support national situational awareness emergency coordination and operational response.

This is a hands-on role that involves spatial systems architecture driving the evolution of enterprise GIS platforms and ensuring geospatial tools and services effectively meet both operational and strategic objectives. A high level of technical expertise stakeholder engagement and readiness to support critical environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and manage GIS solutions including ArcGIS Server Portal for ArcGIS and GeoServer
  • Administer spatial database environments (SQL Server Postgres/PostGIS) across cloud and on-premise infrastructure
  • Design and maintain ETL workflows using FME and Python
  • Adapt spatial viewer technologies within an enterprise GIS environment
  • Develop and support GIS applications tools and system upgrades
  • Produce technical specifications and operational documentation

Key Experience and Skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with ESRI ArcGIS Suite Dashboards WebApp Builder
  • Strong development skills in Python and JavaScript APIs for geospatial applications
  • Demonstrated experience in both cloud and on-premise geospatial environments
  • Ability to manage incidents analyse system issues and liaise with technical and business stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Capability to contribute to GIS roadmaps strategy development and system uplift initiatives
