The Head of Public Affairs in Denmark will be responsible for leading Novartis external engagement with policy makers and government decision makers to ensure a sustainable operating environment that supports patient access to innovative medicines.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Shape the external policy environment in Denmark on high priority topics
Build and maintaining strong relationships with policy makers and stakeholders
Represent Public Affairs as part of the Danish Country Leadership Team
Monitor emerging policy and regulatory trends relevant to Denmark
Drive thought leadership for Novartis in Denmark on commercial and policy priorities
Provide analysis on political trends on relevant portfolio areas for senior management
Represent Novartis across key industry and trade associations

Essential Requirements

Demonstrated experience working within the Danish Government
Exceptional understanding of the Danish legislative environment
Demonstrated experience in crisis and issues management
Proven track record of providing forward-thinking analysis on geopolitics
Proven track record of delivering strategic advocacy campaigns on complex issues
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with key external stakeholders
Demonstrated ability of addressing complex regulatory policy or access priorities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
Relevant tertiary qualifications in law policy health economics or business.
