Inviting applications for the role of Vice President Program Manager / Engineering Lead - Agentic AI
As part of Genpacts GenpactNext transformation this role sits at the forefront of our shift toward Agentic AI solutionsdomain-specific autonomous systems that are redefining how global enterprises operate. You will drive the successful execution governance and scaling of Agentic AI programs across products like AP Suite Insurance and other expanding product lines.
As a Program Manager and functional Engineering Lead you will be responsible for orchestrating cross-functional teams governing delivery standards and ensuring our Agentic AI initiatives meet quality velocity and client-outcome expectations. This role requires strong SDLC oversight a deep understanding of engineering processes and the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across the organization.
You will act as a key enabler of Genpacts AI-first agenda by connecting AI research engineering product and client-facing teams to drive meaningful business impact through next-generation autonomous technologies.

Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Strategy
Lead the end-to-end execution of Agentic AI programs across multiple product lines and service areas.
Drive program planning governance prioritization and delivery milestones ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
Shape and implement operational mechanisms that scale Agentic AI adoption across the enterprise.
SDLC Governance & Delivery Excellence
Oversee SDLC processes across participating engineering teams to ensure consistency quality compliance and delivery predictability.
Drive improvements in workflow design release management defect reduction and engineering best practices.
Ensure programs adhere to security testing and quality standards for enterprise-grade AI deployments.
Cross-Functional Orchestration
Serve as the central point of coordination between AI research engineering product business teams and client stakeholders.
Translate program goals into actionable plans for technical and non-technical teams.
Remove roadblocks manage dependencies and streamline collaboration across all workstreams.
Quality Risk & Performance Management
Establish and track metrics around build quality engineering velocity defect trends and release performance.
Proactively identify risks and lead mitigation plans across technical operational and delivery dimensions.
Ensure continuous validation and refinement of Agentic AI capabilities based on quality results and client feedback.
Client Centricity & Business Alignment
Champion a client-first mindset across program teams ensuring that products and solutions reflect real business needs and domain nuances.
Partner with client teams to understand requirements manage expectations and communicate program status and outcomes.
Stakeholder Management & Executive Reporting
Engage with senior leadership product leaders and partner teams to ensure alignment on priorities progress and risks.
Lead program reviews performance updates and executive communications with clarity and transparency.
Team Enablement & Knowledge Sharing
Foster collaboration between distributed engineering and functional teams.
Encourage a culture of innovation accountability and continuous improvement.
Support capability building in Agentic AI processes delivery models and operational frameworks.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications

Strong experience managing enterprise-scale technology programs involving complex SDLC and multi-team coordination.
Proven ability to improve engineering velocity quality and delivery reliability through structured program governance.
Deep understanding of defect management release processes and engineering quality frameworks.
Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Education
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field.
Masters degree in Technology Management Business or Data Science is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience functioning in client-centric matrixed global organizations.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies DevSecOps practices and engineering management tools.
Ability to balance delivery rigor with business priorities and client outcomes.
Experience mentoring teams and driving collaboration across engineering and non-engineering functions.
Exposure to AI/ML or automation programs is a strong plus.
