Job Description
The Court Operations Consultant provides planning monitoring and supervision of special projects including statistical and analytical research and documentation. Establish and maintain relationships with judicial staff court leadership and staff members elected officials stakeholders service providers and members of the public. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Chief Deputy Court Administrator for Court Programs and exercising considerable judgment and independent initiative.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provide planning monitoring and supervision of special projects; perform desk audits on multiple court data sources; conduct audits of court records including data verification and providing technical assistance through analytical and statistical research.
Gather information and data; prepare special reports documenting activities; and conduct reviews and needs assessment of court programs including procedural and workflow updates.
Ensure court contracts meet Florida State Courts Systems General Contract Conditions. Assist in drafting and management of court program contracts conditions to ensure clarity compliance and accountability. Assist in grant and project management funds to ensure timely submission of data requirements and renewal of contracts.
Serve as back-up to Chief Deputy Court Administrator of Programs during any absence upon request.

Education and Training Guidelines
EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Criminal Justice Justice Administration Public Administration Social Work or other closely related field.
EXPERIENCE: Five years of related experience including two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
SUBSTITUTIONS: Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis. Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year- for-year excluding supervisory experience.

Ability to write complex clear correspondence procedures contracts and proposals.
Ability to utilize reasoning and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to research collect and analyze court data.
Ability to make decisions that impact staff contractors vendors programs internal and external stakeholders and the public. Ability to work well under pressure; conform to shifting priorities demands and deadlines.
Skill to negotiate with and facilitate compromise when faced with competing interests.
Incumbent must be professional in all regards.
