Paragon Land Pros is a successful commercial land services firm specializing in both private and public land services projects. Paragon has partnered with Reef as we currently work on a wide variety of projects including Black Desert Resort in Ivins UT and Marcella Club near Park City UT
Position Summary
Our team at Paragon Land Pros is looking to hire an Accounting Assistant who will work closely with Reefs internal accounting team to oversee accounting and finance needs for Paragons operations. The Accounting Assistant provides essential support to the finance department by performing daily accounting tasks maintaining financial records and assisting with the preparation of reports. This role ensures accuracy efficiency and timeliness in financial operations and helps keep the organizations financial processes running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including invoice entry payment processing and customer/vendor follow-up.
- Maintain and update accounting records spreadsheets and databases.
- Perform bank credit card and account reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and summaries as directed by management.
- Help process expense reports and verify supporting documentation.
- Manage filing document organization and digital recordkeeping for financial documents.
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve discrepancies or gather documentation.
- Assist auditors by providing requested information and documentation.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the finance team.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field is .
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Sage NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organizational time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
