Job Description :

Provide intermediate-level support for backup and storage infrastructure focusing on Veeam Backup & Replication and Dell EMC storage solutions. Act as an escalation point for Level 1 issues ensuring data protection recovery and storage availability.

### **Key Responsibilities**
* **Incident & Problem Management:**
* Troubleshoot backup failures restore issues and storage alerts escalated from Level 1.
* Perform root cause analysis for recurring backup/storage problems.
* **Backup Administration (Veeam):**
* Monitor backup jobs and replication tasks.
* Validate backup integrity and assist with restore operations.
* Configure and maintain backup policies and schedules.
* **Storage Administration (Dell EMC):**
* Manage storage provisioning LUN allocation and zoning.
* Monitor storage performance and capacity utilization.
* Assist with firmware updates and patching.
* **Maintenance & Compliance:**
* Ensure adherence to backup retention policies and data protection standards.
* Apply security best practices for storage and backup systems.
* **Documentation:**
* Maintain operational procedures and troubleshooting guides.
* **Collaboration:**
* Work with Level 3 teams for complex issues and infrastructure upgrades.

### **Required Skills**
* Hands-on experience with **Veeam Backup & Replication** (installation configuration troubleshooting).
* Knowledge of **Dell EMC storage platforms** (Unity VNX PowerStore).
* Familiarity with **SAN/NAS concepts** RAID levels and storage networking.
* Basic understanding of **virtualization environments** (VMware Hyper-V).
* Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

* **Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)**
