Job Summary

The ARCADE (Amazon Retail Customer Data Engineering) Science and Analytics team needs a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to drive our analytical solutions. This team supports Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) Amazon Supply Chain Solutions (ASCS) and Buy with Prime (BwP) businesses. We seek a BIE who will identify business opportunities through data-driven insights create predictive models for supply chain optimization and analyze customer behavior patterns.
The ideal candidate will build and deploy analytical solutions at scale while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You should have statistical analysis expertise proficiency in SQL and Python and experience with data visualization. Your technical skills should be complemented by a strong understanding of business metrics and KPIs.
Industry experience in eCommerce transportation finance retail technology or logistics is preferred. Join our team of engineers and data scientists to transform how Amazon serves its customers through data-driven decisions.

- 3 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Bachelors degree in BI finance engineering statistics computer science mathematics finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2 DynamoDB S3 and Redshift
- Experience in data mining ETL etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale complex datasets
