We are seeking an experienced Health Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist to join our Service team in this role you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE standards maintaining a safe working environment and fostering a strong safety culture across all service operations. You will provide expert guidance on risk assessments incident investigations and regulatory requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires excellent communication skills a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
How youll make an impact:
Ensure compliance audits and inspections are conducted across operational areas and contractor activities withaccuratereporting of findings andtimelycorrective actions.
Maintain up-to-date legal registers and compliance documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
Maintainaccuraterisk registers and ensure risk controls are implemented andmonitoredeffectively.
Provide expert input during incident investigations toidentifyroot causes and systemic risks ensuring corrective and preventive actions are applied.
Drive the development of risk-related training and awareness programs to strengthen organisational risk culture
Maintain complete andaccurateincident records and contribute to trend analysis for continuous improvement
Ensure emergency equipment and systems are inspectedmaintained and ready for use.
Your Background:
NEBOSHLevel 6Diplomain Health Safety EnvironmentalManagementorprofessionalequivalent.
Proven experience in auditing risk assessment and incident investigation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver effective training.
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cultural change.
Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and best practices.
