We are seeking a high-performing Managing Attorney who pairs strong legal and leadership skills with grounded confidence and a human-centered approach and who is ready to step into a key role on our executive team.

Youll guide a talented team of attorneys and paralegals while maintaining a focused high-quality legal practice of your own.

Role Schedule & Structure

Leadership Casework: Full-time role based in our San Antonio office Executive Team Membership: Serve on the firms executive leadership team contributing to strategic decisions and firmwide direction Team Oversight: Lead mentor and support a team of attorneys Client Engagement: Maintain your own caseload conduct consultations and continue closing confidently Strategy & Development: Participate in firmwide planning process improvement and growth initiatives Flexibility: Occasional evenings/weekends for networking client events or training

Your work will span leadership mentorship case strategy client communication business development and fostering a high-trust high-performance team.

Your legal skill will still be front and center. Youll maintain a strong personal caseload and continue to be a top performer in client consultations and courtroom representation. You:

• Are deeply competent in Estate Planning & Probate (Guardianship certification or eligibility required)
• Draft and review documents with precision and clarity
• Confidently represent clients in hearings mediations and complex matters
• Communicate legal concepts in a way that clients feel safe informed and empowered
• Consistently close new client engagements with warmth and confidence

Board Certification or active pursuit of it is a significant advantage.

3. Team Development & Collaboration

• Provide coaching training and case guidance to attorneys

Requirements

• 57 years of experience in Estate Planning & Probate
• Experience managing attorneys and/or legal staff
• Certification or ability to obtain certification for Guardianship matters
• Board Certified or actively pursuing (strongly preferred)
• Technologically fluent; comfortable working within goals metrics and case-management systems
