We are seeking a Security Operator to strengthen our defenses by leading incident response and improving security this role you will play a vital part in safeguarding our infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments while continuously advancing our threat detection and response capabilities.

In this role youll make an impact by:

Being primarily responsible for security operations in our IT and OT environments your focus will depend on your profile and organizational context.

Some key areas of responsibility include:

Operational Focus (70%):

• Leading incident response efforts for escalations from our MDR provider.

• Triaging and distributing ServiceNow incidents and requests based on domain ownership.

• Troubleshooting user-reported issues and providing timely resolutions.

• Identifying and remediating operational gaps across security workflows.

• Identifying and escalating strategic risks.

• Providing input and support for SOAR playbook development and automation.

Strategic & Development Focus (30%):

• Designing and optimizing processes and workflows within assigned security domains with a particular focus on cloud security.

• Developing and maturing specific areas of expertise aligned with the teams goals.

• Collaborating on new initiatives to enhance detection response and operational efficiency.

• Contributing to documentation and sharing knowledge across the team.

Your role will be pivotal to maintaining a strong security posture. You will continuously improve detection rules automate routine tasks and apply advanced threat intelligence techniques. Youll also support the Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) team with day-to-day tasks manage ticket queues and ensure effective incident handling.

To succeed you must hold:

• A minimum of two years of experience in an IT or OT SOC.

• Solid hands-on expertise in key cybersecurity areas including incident handling threat hunting log management and security operations.

• Proficiency in creating custom detection rules tailored to the organizations environment and working with diverse log formats and data sources. Experience with deploying and configuring IDS tools is highly valued.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell (preferred but not required).

Additional expertise in digital forensics threat intelligence and regulatory compliance (e.g. NIS2 GDPR) is highly valued. Experience generating customized reports and dashboards or familiarity with the Microsoft Security Suite will give you an advantage. Regardless of your specific areas of expertise a proactive approach to learning problem-solving and enhancing security systems is essential.

Location: Hørsholm with the option to work in our new office in Carlsberg Byen.
