Job Purpose:

The Business Analyst III serves as a strategic partner to business and technology leaders driving complex analysis solution design and cross-functional initiatives that advance key business objectives. This role leads requirement definition across multiple projects or programs mentors other analysts and ensures alignment between business goals regulatory compliance and technology solutions. The Business Analyst III operates with a high degree of autonomy and provides thought leadership in business process improvement and digital transformation across the banking enterprise.

Job Duties:

• Lead and manage requirements analysis for large-scale or high-impact projects across multiple business lines.
• Partner with business executives and product owners to define and prioritize strategic initiatives.
• Translate complex business problems into clear actionable functional and technical requirements.
• Conduct in-depth data and process analysis to identify trends inefficiencies and opportunities for innovation.
• Develop comprehensive process models user stories and wireframes to support enterprise solution design.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on business processes systems and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and cross-functional collaboration among business technology and compliance stakeholders.
• Oversee and validate user acceptance testing (UAT) for critical initiatives ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
• Drive adherence to business analysis best practices governance standards and documentation quality.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level analysts; provide guidance on methodologies tools and stakeholder engagement.
• Represent the business analysis function in enterprise planning architecture and innovation discussions.
• Perform special projects and provide analytical leadership as assigned.
• Will perform special projects as assigned.

Education Job Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business information systems finance or a related field (Masters preferred).
• 5 years of experience in business analysis with at least 3 years in financial services or banking.
• Advanced proficiency in requirements management process modeling and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies and hybrid project environments.
• Experience leading multi-team initiatives and managing competing priorities across programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management communication and negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of banking operations risk and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to influence decision-making at senior levels and drive consensus across departments.
• Proficiency with analytical and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Visio Power BI SQL).
• Valid drivers license;
• Travel may be required based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business information systems finance or a related field
• 5 years of experience in business analysis
