Job Summary
We are seeking an Infrastructure Architectwith strong expertise inon-premise datacenter technologiesto join our architecture team with one of our largest partners. About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Design:Architect and implementon-premise datacenter solutions ensuring scalability security and high availability.
- Virtualization Platforms:Design and manage virtualization environments usingVMware vSphereandMicrosoft Hyper-V.
- Network Architecture:Develop and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routing switching and security configurations.
- Storage Solutions:Implement and optimizeSAN/NAS storage technologies ensuring redundancy and performance.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery:Define and enforce backup strategies and disaster recovery plans using industry-leading tools.
- Microsoft Technology Stack:Architect solutions leveragingWindows ServerActive DirectoryGroup Policy andSQL Serverfor enterprise workloads.
- Performance & Capacity Planning:Conduct regular assessments to optimize infrastructure performance and plan for future growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and operational excellence
- Documentation:Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and technical specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience:10 years in an Infrastructure Architect or similar role.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience inon-premise datacenter architectureand operations.
- Deep knowledge ofVMware vSphereandMicrosoft Hyper-Vvirtualization platforms.
- Hands-on experience withenterprise storage technologies backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies.
- Advanced proficiency inActive DirectoryWindows Server andSQL Serveradministration.
- Solid understanding ofnetwork design including VLANs firewalls and load balancing.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as:
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Azure Solutions Architect Expert
