Job Description
Leading logistics provider based in Cape Town Northern Suburbs. Specializes in reliable transportation and distribution services. Looking for a Debtors Manager to join their team.

What you will be doing:
- Develop strategies to improve cash flow and accounts receivable processes
- Lead and support a team of debtors clerks
- Establish and maintain credit policies and procedures
- Monitor aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Approve credit applications and limits
- Conduct credit reviews to reduce risk
- Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers
- Resolve billing issues in collaboration with sales and operations
- Prepare reports on receivables performance and trends
- Stay informed on industry regulations and best practices
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field (advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years experience in debtors management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Solid understanding of accounting and credit management
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Sage) and MS Excel
- Analytical skills for financial reporting and forecasting
- Experience in logistics or transportation preferred
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
