- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer (Electrical Power Distribution Control and Automation Systems)
- Position Title: Assistant Purchasing Officer
- Working Location: Tuas Crescent (Transportation Provided)
- Working Hours: Monday Friday 8.15am 5.45pm
- Salary Package: Basic up to $3500
- Duration: Contract (4 6 months)
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase materials locally and overseas per assigned product lists; create and process POs.
- Track deliveries and update overseas shipment details; ensure materials arrive on time for production.
- Provide administrative support to the Manager and Officer.
- Generate monthly purchasing reports; maintain the approved vendor/supplier list.
- Assist with procurement: sourcing negotiating following up and expediting orders.
- Organize and file purchasing documents.
- Keep the purchasing office clean and orderly.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
- Carry out other tasks as directed by supervisors.

- At least 1-year purchasing experience in buying electrical components & spares in manufacturing or electrical service company.
