We now have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative who loves people enjoys a varied day and thrives in an environment where excellent service builds trust wins opportunities and supports real outcomes for our customers and sales team.
About the role: This is not a just key orders customer service role.
You will become a trusted partner for our customers from small independent stores through to major national accounts. You will help them navigate seasonal demand product availability timelines freight requirements and supply. You will build rapport quickly spot opportunities and guide customers with accurate and timely information.
You will work at the heart of the business. Your day will involve creating orders ensuring stock is available in the right place at the right time and collaborating with sales reps sites freight partners and store managers. The role is varied fast paced and rewarding for someone who enjoys taking ownership and making decisions that create positive outcomes.
We have both a permanentfull-time role for thirty-eight (38) hours per week and asix-month full time fixed term role available (38 hours).
Key Responsibilities
Build warm and genuine relationships with customers across all segments
Identify opportunities by understanding customer history order patterns and current needs
Provide clear updates about seasonal supply and product availability
Manage expectations around delivery timelines and seasonal constraints
Process orders accurately efficiently and with strong attention to detail
Create and manage orders and help ensure supply aligns to customer requirements
Work closely with sales reps to provide updates and support outcomes for large orders
Coordinate with internal and external sites to help achieve accurate and timely deliveries
Manage consignment stock and collaborate with the accounts team
Maintain accurate notes and data within our CRM and ERP systems
About you
You enjoy working with people from all walks of life and can build trust quickly. You are motivated by providing great service you communicate clearly and you take pride in getting things right. You enjoy a busy day with variety and you are comfortable making decisions that support both the customer and the business.
We are looking for someone with:
Previous customer service experience ideally within a wholesale agricultural or similar environment
Strong customer service skills and the confidence to build rapport
The ability to identify opportunities and support sales through strong service
Clear written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Confidence using systems such as Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Experience using Navision or similar ERP systems is helpful but not essential
Strong numerical and analytical skills
