Technical Assistant - Modernization
Role Overview:
We are seeking new talent to join our team.

Otis is growing and is looking for aTechnical Assistant/Technical Associate for one of our entities located in Klang Valley.
Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.
On a typical day you will:
Performs commissioning & testing on elevator/escalator to ensure meet specification safety standard as approved by local authority.
This role requires to liaising with Project Manager Project Engineer Testing Engineer Safety personnel building manager subcontractor Service Personnel etc.
Direct report to Testing Engineer who will provide you with access to mentorship training growth and development opportunities.
To attend as soon as reasonably possible all breakdown callback assignment. Priority is to be given for man trap situation.
May be required for standby duties on weekend public holiday or after office hour.
Any other duties that may be given by the Supervisor from time to time.
What You Will Need to be Successful:
Minimum SPM preferably with technical certificate fresh graduate from Diploma are welcomed.
Willing to learn new skill (Understand to read wiring diagram mechanical adjustment work wiring work)
Able to troubleshoot and solve technical problem will have added advantage.
Self-disciplined attitude. (Punctuality)
Able to work under stress.
Able to work at renovation site & construction site.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Willing to travel in short notice
Comfortable communicating to others.
