Job Summary
This long-term substitute will be required to complete lesson plans and grading while being supported by the teacher remotely. This qualifies for the long-term substitute pay of $243.24.
Summary
Responsible for implementing substitute plans and providing instruction in the assigned subject area aligned with the current curriculum Core Knowledge framework and state content standards.

Description of Job Tasks

- Uphold a classroom environment that maximizes instructional time supervise the safety and well-being of students in the classroom and in all educational settings.
- Administer appropriate discipline when necessary.
- Implement the substitute teaching plans prepared by the regular classroom teacher.
- Instruct students in large small and one-on-one settings.
- Attend work and arrive on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Related Work Experience
- High school diploma or Bachelors degree required.
- Experience instructing students in a classroom setting preferred.
Licenses Registrations or Certifications
- Criminal background check required for employment.
- Valid Colorado substitute license required.
- CPR and First Aid certification required upon hire.
- All personnel must fully complete Windsor Charter Academys safety training ALICE (Alert Lockdown Inform Counter Evacuate). Staff must demonstrate understanding and implementation of these protocols as part of their responsibility to maintain a safe and secure learning environment.
