Job Summary: The Certified Surgical Technologist provides direct surgical support during operative procedures by maintaining sterile technique preparing instruments and assisting the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments equipment and supplies.
Scrub in and assist surgeons during major operative procedures.
Maintain strict sterile technique throughout surgical cases.
Anticipate surgical team needs and pass instruments and supplies as required.
Assist with room turnover instrument handling and post-procedure cleanup.
Support patient safety and adherence to operating room protocols.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of scrub experience in major operating room procedures Required

Education
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program Required
Military Surgical Technologist training accepted

Certifications
NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required
No other certifications are acceptable
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
