Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Middlesborough UK
Salary: 46575 basic on call payment bonus
Contract / Permanent: Permanent Vacancy
Site Based / Office / Remote: Site Based

Job Overview:
Our clients offer unique storage solutions for crude petroleum chemical bitumen liquefied gas and biofuel products. Their terminals are pipeline-connected to local chemical manufacturing facilities and gas processing plants and each facility is an Upper Tier COMAH Site.
They are looking for an Electrical Technician to join the Maintenance team to ensure the terminal maintenance is managed safely and efficiently across North Tees and Seal Sands. You will provide technical support leadership and guidance to projects operations and maintenance.

Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned and unplanned electrical maintenance.
- Inspect and test electrical systems including MCCs RCDs motors lighting generators UPS and earthing systems.
- Supervise and verify contractor work ensuring compliance with site rules and safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults (MCCs motors earth faults etc.).
- Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
- Manage electrical isolations following Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Prepare and review risk assessments and method statements.
- Support improvement projects and report on progress via Eventis.
- Maintain stock of critical electrical equipment.
- Participate in on-call rota for emergency support.
- Attend safety meetings audits and training as required.
What you will need:
- BTEC/NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Engineering discipline or time served apprenticeship.
- COMPEX 01-04
- BS7671 18th Edition
- 5 Years experience working within a Petrochemical / chemical industry as an E&I technician.
- IPAF 3A & 3B
- PASMA
- High Voltage awareness up to 11kv.
