Job Summary

The Role:

We are seeking a Data Center Engineer with strong automation and infrastructure management experience to join the core technology operations team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in supporting and automating datacenter environments in high-performance trading or capital markets settings.

You will be responsible for the design deployment and maintenance of our data center infrastructure with a focus on improving scalability reliability and automation across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support physical and virtual infrastructure across multiple data centers supporting ultra-low latency trading systems.
Design and implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible Terraform or Python scripting.
Maintain and optimize systems for high availability low latency and fault tolerance.
Collaborate with network systems and trading technology teams to ensure seamless platform operations.
Perform capacity planning monitoring and performance tuning across production and disaster recovery environments.
Develop monitoring and alerting solutions using tools such as Zabbix Prometheus or Grafana.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
Support change management and documentation best practices.

Required Skills Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical field.
5 years of experience as a Data Center Systems or Infrastructure Engineer.
Strong automation skills with Python Ansible Terraform or similar tools.
Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) environments.
Understanding of low-latency networking colocation facilities and capital markets infrastructure.
Familiarity with virtualization and containerization (VMware KVM Docker Kubernetes).
Excellent troubleshooting skills in production environments.
Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in electronic trading infrastructure or market connectivity environments.
Understanding of FIX multicast and financial exchange protocols.
Experience managing infrastructure in colocation facilities such as Equinix or NY4/CH4.
Exposure to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
