Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Engineer to design deploy and maintain secure scalable cloud infrastructure in a fully remote environment. This role focuses on optimizing cloud performance supporting DevOps initiatives and ensuring system reliability across cloud platforms.
Candidates must be located in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Design implement and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure or GCP)
Monitor system performance availability and security
Automate cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to support CI/CD pipelines
Implement security best practices access controls and compliance standards
Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and optimize costs
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of cloud services networking and security
Experience with tools such as Terraform CloudFormation Docker or Kubernetes
Proficiency in scripting (Python Bash or PowerShell)
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
