Position Overview:

We are looking for a strategic Manager of Insights & Analyticsto lead the development of data-driven insights that power business strategy and transformative growth.

This role reports into the Director of Insights & Analytics and is a key role as a part of the Marketing Organization to drive Insights & Analytics initiatives leveraging wide variety of data and analytics tools both internal and external. The chosen candidate will partner closely with the Marketing Organization to drive market research projects as well as to help diagnose performance to uncover growth opportunities/identify challenges in a fast-paced consumer-centric food business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learning Plans: Work closely with Marketing Teams as well as the Director for Consumer Insights & Analytics to identify key gaps & opportunities for consumer research projects to feed into creating a comprehensive learning plan.
  • Project Management: Design and execute custom qualitative & quantitative primary research. Deliver Insights projects to ensure that the projects stay on track and deliver results in a timely manner working with the budget constraints.
  • Breakthrough Insights: Interpret consumer data to understand preferences motivations and behaviors to represent the voice of the consumer in cross-functional team meetings and decision making.
  • Performance Analysis & Measurement:Identify and explain key drivers of business performance including market trends consumer behavior competitive dynamics and marketing effectiveness.
  • Vendor Management: Manage research partner relationships roadmaps and capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Analytics Statistics Economics or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in marketing analytics consumer insights or business intelligence preferably within theFood/CPG sectors
  • Understanding of syndicated data sources (e.g. Nielsen IRI SPINS) and their application to brand and category strategy
  • Keen business acumen and ability to connect data to commercial outcomes
  • Good written and oral communication skills and experience presenting to large groups
  • Strong knowledge and proven application of a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research initiatives and methodologies to solve business objectives including survey development and execution segmentation advertising effectiveness panel research ethnography focus groups brand tracking competitive intelligence etc.
  • Well organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines
  • Experience managing research vendors to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

Ornua is a leading dairy co-operative which sells premium dairy products globally on behalf of its Member Co-operatives Irelands dairy processors and in turn Irish dairy farmers.
