About the role
Location: Parsippany/Nutley
TheRB NATax Departmentisseekinga highly motivated and qualified tax professional tomanage a variety of North American tax projects primarily related to US Federal income tax mattersinareas such as planning compliance and reporting.
This individual will report totheTax Director Compliance and Reportingwhile also workingcloselyvarious levels of leadershipwithin the position will have two direct reports.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible forUStax accounting and reporting requirementsincluding federal and state tax provision matterssuch as ETR calculations/management and tax reserve positions.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to supportyear-end auditsand ensuretimelyfilings.
- Managefederal tax compliance including extensions and estimated payments.
- Conduct ad hocFederal andvarious project relatedresearch and analysis
- Assistwith tax planningoperational initiativesand other transaction-based projects such as mergers acquisitionsdivestitures carve-out tax reporting etc.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the companys tax position.
- Manage/developtax internalcontrolsand other tax policies/processes.
- Contribute totax technology improvements in areassuch as tax compliance/provision software fixed assets and SAPintegration including liaising with operations.
- AssistwithIRS controversy matters.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing environment by for example authoring/teaching educational sessions and developing juniorteam members.
