About Technology Development
The TD team for ISEA is focused on Customer Product development & Engineering Innovation for the region rollout of new technologies for the region testing Failure Investigation scaleup from POC to series productionPortfolio Management etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Associate Metallurgist
Reports To: Manager- Metallurgy Laboratory
Role Type: Individual Contribution
Location: Bangalor
Role Purpose:
- Preparation of metallographic samples.
- Operating Rockwell Vickers & Micro Vickers hardness tester.
- Steel chemical analysis.
- Performing Ultrasonic Testing (NDT-UT)
- Laboratory heat treatment of test samples.
- Calibration of equipment.
- Monitoring environmental conditions.
- Adhering to Preventive maintenance scheduling.
- Material handling and tracking.
- Housekeeping.
- To endure cleanliness and orderliness.
- To ensure adherence to safety (PP) & EHS requirements.
- Participate and prepare for the Quality system and EHS audits.
- Raise Purchase requestions as per requirements
Competencies:
- Functional
- Should be capable of doing sample preparation independently
- Should be able to independently operate equipments like Hardness Tester OES CS Analyzer and Gas analyzer
- Should be able to perform Hardness testing and Mechanical testing independently
- Will be preferred if experienced in NDT (preferably Ultrasonic Testing)

Candidate Profile:
- Experience in years: Minimum 3 years of experience
- Education: Diploma in Metallurgy/Mechanical
- Industry Type: Steel Industry Metallurgical Laboratory
Certification:

- Level II in UT/RT/MPI
