Targets distinctive brand love is infused throughout its many physical locations by the Properties teams. We have a direct and positive impact on the real estate design construction and maintenance of our 2000 stores distribution centers and headquarters. Target invests 75% of annual capital investment into Properties and over half of the enterprise OpEx leading to significant opportunity to impact outcomes for the business. We have an ambitious goal to launch hundreds of new stores over the next 10 years with several hundred more remodels in stores all driving new customers and incremental sales for Target.

Role overview:
As a Sr Product Manager Store Design Capabilities you will lead the development and maintenance of the tools and systems that enable teams to translate company strategy into physical spaces. These design capabilities support a wide range of formatsincluding new Prototypes New Stores Remodels and Special Projects all with the goal of elevating the guest experience and bringing joy to all guests. The outputs of these tools not only guide how we build and maintain our physical assets but also power downstream operations across the enterprise.
This is a unique opportunity to drive meaningful transformation as we move from a fragmented set of legacy systems to a unified modern platform that integrates 3D modeling and data management. Your leadership will streamline workflows improve cross-functional collaboration and ensure high-quality consistent dataunlocking efficiencies throughout the entire location lifecycle.
You will develop a comprehensive product strategy related roadmap and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product and ensure business alignment. You will need to leverage the knowledge of your product as well as customer feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value develop business cases and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes. You will work in unison with Engineers UX designers Data Scientists / Data Engineering teams and business partners to deliver outcomes.
You will be the voice of the product to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop and actively understand the market maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer themes epics and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.
You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organizations direction. You will foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles and partner with product teams across the organization to help them achieve their goals while pursuing and completing yours.

About you:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience
6 years of Product Management and/or equivalent domain experience
Experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories iterative development scrum teams sprints personas UI discovery and development)
Ability to self-organize and lead through ambiguity
Strong facilitation skills that guide groups towards productive outcomes while maintaining a positive and collaborative atmosphere
Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technical teams
Ability to communicate complex concepts in easy-to-understand terminology across Sr. Leadership Operations Product and Technology
Ability to influence peers and partners to find common ground push for consistency where possible facilitate conversations and navigate competing interests.
Curiosity with a passion for learning and contributing to a growth culture
Demonstrated ability to use and assess data and work with analytical partners to validate business outcomes
