Job Summary
JD:
Electronics development of the Electronic Control Unit
Key Responsibilities
Develop low voltage power electronics designs for application Electronic Control Units in line with platform strategy
Understand product design including simulations component selection schematic design. Layout capabilities thermal concept Design to Cost and Design for Manufacturing
Provide input into development of design justification/Worst Case Circuit Analysis to validate design selection
Support design for functional safety and support Functional Safety engineer on all Electronic Control Unit related tasks including FTA & FMEDA
Support release electrical hardware design outputs from ECAD tools processes and facilitate customer releases
Debug electrical hardware products in the lab through commissioning testing diagnosing and inspection through development life cycle
Analyze link and distribute customer requirements to the electrical hardware design and test team
Follow HWE and interface processes according to the V Model
Previous experience required:
3-5 years of experience in electronics hardware design and layout for automotive
applications preferably in powertrain or chassis.
Experience performing worst case circuit analysis
Understanding of automotive and functional safety development processes
Excellent communication teamwork
Independent worker who takes the initiative
