Transmission Lineman

About the Role
Were looking for an experienced Transmission Linesman to join our team in Islington and help maintain and construct high-voltage transmission networks. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and safety of our power infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Install maintain and repair overhead and underground transmission lines.
Perform live-line work using approved safety procedures.
Inspect and test transmission systems for faults and compliance.
Operate specialized equipment such as bucket trucks cranes and tensioners.
Work in varying weather conditions and at heights.
Adhere to all health safety and environmental regulations.

What Were Looking For
Proven experience as a Transmission Linesman or similar role.
Strong knowledge of high-voltage transmission systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
Current electrical trade qualification and relevant certifications (e.g. EWRB registration live-line endorsement).
Full drivers license (Class 2 or above preferred).
