Job Summary

If you have a passion for community engagement making a difference in the lives of young people working with youth from 14 to 21 years of age are self-motivated and would like a flexible schedule the Advocate position is you.

Status: Part Time Hourly

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: Hourly part-time position involves serving youth and families in Yarmouth Maine.

Ideal candidate will be dependable committed and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community school and home settings.
The Primary responsibilitiesof the Advocate are to initiate organize plan develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.

This position offers flexible hours competitive weekly pay mileage and activity reimbursement.

Hourly rate: $21.00 per hour

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
Prior experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
Experience working with at-risk youth.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual (Spanish) is plus.
Reliable insured transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage.
