FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Hourly part-time position involves serving youth and families in Yarmouth Maine.
- Ideal candidate will be dependable committed and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community school and home settings.
- The Primary responsibilitiesof the Advocate are to initiate organize plan develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
- All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
This position offers flexible hours competitive weekly pay mileage and activity reimbursement.
Hourly rate: $21.00 per hour
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Experience working with at-risk youth.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is plus.
- Reliable insured transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage.
