What Youll Do
Responsible for ensuring procurement opportunities are made available for small businesses to the maximum extent practicable to support requirements established by the Companys prime contract. Performs duties with opportunity for exercise of initiative independent judgment and discretion under limited supervision. Key duties and requirements of this position include:
- Advocating for small business contracting internally and externally for the Company.
- Understanding contractual requirements as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR) and the Companys prime contract.
- Analyzing data creating spreadsheets and dashboards and reporting Company performance data to internal and federal customers.
- Developing and maintaining a business relationship with the Small Business Administration Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization local chamber of commerce and other small business resources.
- Planning administering and hosting subcontractor outreach events.
- Reviewing approving and monitoring subcontractors performance under small business subcontracting plans and bid lists.
- Interfacing between potential subcontractors and Company Employees.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- OR Masters degree
- OR Eight or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel and data analysis.
- Must be able to present and speak in front of large audiences.
- Must have the ability to develop collaboration cross-functionally a team mentality.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business marketing public relations teaching or a related field of study
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant Small Business experience.
- Familiar with SAP and Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working to federal regulations.
- Experience with process improvements showing task ownership.
