Job Summary

Summary
This positionwill use a forklift toassistall areas of the plant in the production and packaging offrenchfries and preformed potato productsin a manner consistent with safetyqualityand production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Forklift Line Service employees are required to be cross trained with Materials and Inventory Coordinators and are able to perform functions within their security role.
- Ensures there is no injury to self or others by following safe work practices (including Standard Operating Procedures) and policies.
- Conducts oneself in a professional manner and ensures that personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job functions while representing the Company.
- Performs all such other duties as may be reasonably assigned by Manager.
- Must be able to complete training on the safe operation of the lift truck (forklift) and successfully pass the certification test requirements. This training and certification are requirementsin accordance withOSHA 1910.78 standards for Material Handling and Storage using Powered Industrial Trucks.
- Ensuresproper inspection of forklift.
- Maintains freezer bylocatingand moving totes as needed.
- Required to change out totes and store in freezer during bulk off situations and during times of bulk generation.
- Ensuresall packaging supplies (paper poly bulk product and fiber) aremaintained.
- Ensures additives toIQFwet line aremaintained.

Relevant Experience
- Must have successfully completed the Job Skill Evaluation to begin training in the complete the Structured Job Training program within recommended timeframe to remain in the position permanently.
- Must be able todemonstratethe ability to perform addition subtraction multiplication division and calculate percentages to make proper adjustments and calibrations asrequired.
- Must be able to read understand and communicatein Englishin a manner to successfully complete job duties.
- Must be able tolift upto 50poundsiea bag of ingredients
- Must be able to tell timeand be able to convert regular time to military time.
- Mustbe able to use a computer and successfully navigate through variousapplications. Must be proficient at computer system data entry.
- Must be able to maneuver in close quarters and climb stairs ladders and catwalks on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand on concrete floors forlong periodsof time.
- Must be able to work in extreme environments (cold hothumidand slippery).
- Musthave an acceptable attendance record.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Other Information
Ability to safely operate a forklift loading and unloading trucks and high stacking totes.
