Purpose
The Technical Director is a senior leadership role within IDEMIA organization responsible for overseeing technology delivery operations and innovation across the Asia-Pacific region. This role ensures that client infrastructure enterprise systems DevOps practices and network solutions are designed implemented and managed to the highest standards. The director will lead regional teams manage vendor partnerships and drive transformation initiatives for our clients in the Government industries.
He/She will manage the technical aspects of the Infrastructure Systems DevOps & DB Team with strong leadership responsible for:
- the robustness and stability of the solutions implemented
- the quality of the projects delivered in Singapore and across APAC
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure & Network
- Lead the design deployment and management of client ITinfrastructure (data centers cloud hybrid environments).
- Oversee enterprise network architecture connectivity andperformance across multiple client environments.
- Ensure high availability disaster recovery and businesscontinuity for client systems.
- Standardize infrastructure delivery frameworks across APACprojects.
- Systems Integration
- Oversee system upgrades migrations and modernizationinitiatives.
- Align system architecture with client business requirementsand compliance standards.
- Drive interoperability and data flow between client systemsand platforms.
- DevOps & Automation
- Champion DevOps practices across client engagements enablingfaster and more reliable delivery.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines infrastructure-as-code andautomated monitoring solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with IDEMIA product team and Services applicationteams to accelerate delivery cycles.
- Introduce tools and frameworks that improve scalabilityreliability and developer productivity.
- Security & Compliance
- Ensure infrastructure systems and network operations complywith regional and industry-specific regulations (e.g. PDPA GDPR HIPAAetc).
- Partner with IDEMIA security teams to mitigate risks andrespond to incidents.
- Establish governance frameworks for secure DevOps and systempractices.
- Leadership & Client Engagement
- Build and lead high-performing infrastructure systemsDevOps and network teams across APAC.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client CIOs providing strategictechnology guidance.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service-levelagreements for client projects.
- Collaborate with global delivery teams to ensure consistencyand excellence in service delivery.
- Leadand be responsible to ensure that Singapore Projects are successfully deliveredto the customer within cost on-time on-quality meeting customer and IDEMIAsecurity needs and other agreed KPIs.
- Operational Excellence
- Define KPIs and SLAs for infrastructure systems DevOps and nnetwork operations across client engagements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhancereliability and performance.
- Monitor emerging technologies and assess their applicability to client needs in APAC.
- Team Management
- Leveragetechnical depth and broader business understanding to coach develop and
mentor the individual contributors in your team. - Generalmanagement of local resources within your respective team(s) throughout Singapore
in conjunction with the various teams in SG Services. - Support presales activities in APAC by providing technical inputscosting and quotation information in accordance with best practices.
- Support the Country Service Managers and Service Delivery Managers in the ongoing management of contractual deliverables and milestones that may require project capability.
- Focuson continual process improvements making recommendations to management
regarding customer and/or IDEMIA solutions to enhance benefits to customers
our values and initiatives. - Generatekey reporting as directed by local management in support of the relevant KPIs
of the APAC Regional hub. - Assistin the recruitment development and ongoing support of a highly motivated and
professional project team in Singapore.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure systems and network management with at least 5 years in a regional leadership role within a system integrator or consulting environment.
- Proven expertise in:
- Cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Enterprise networking (WAN LAN SD-WAN VPN).
- DB systems (Oracle Postgres MS SQL non-SQL).
- DevOps tools (Jenkins GitLab Kubernetes Terraform Ansible).
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements across APAC.
- Excellent leadership communication and client-facing skills.
- Experience managing distributed teams and multi-country operations.
- An international certification in project and/or services management (PMI PRINCE2 PMP for example)
