Job Summary
Join our OHS (BHP Bezpieczeństwo i Higiena Pracy) team which will be a dedicated team of two specialists that helps us ensure a safe and healthy workplace at Tetra Pak in Tomaszkowo near Olsztyn Poland. In this role you will work closely with site and production management to ensure compliance with Tetra Paks OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) policies and procedures while driving continuous improvement toward our goal of zero accidents and work-related ill health. All responsibilities will be performed in accordance with Polish legislation: 2 sec. 1 of the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 2 September 1997 on occupational health and safety services Journal of Laws No. 109 item 704 as amended.
What you will do
- Support management employees and 3rd party contractors in daily health and safety related topics.
- Monitor and improve workplace health and safety conditions in line with Polish legislation and Tetra Pak standards on site but also for employees on work related travel.
- Identify hazards propose corrective actions and report regularly to management the progress.
- Prepare annual health and safety analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with Tetra Pak WCM/TPM (World Class Manufacturing/Total Productive Maintenance) principles.
- Participate in modernization and investment projects to ensure health and safety requirements are fulfilled.
- Conduct risk assessments investigate accidents and maintain required documentation.
- Advise on safe work organization and protective measures.
- Drive training and onboarding of employees visitors and third-party contractors.
- Lead the health and safety culture transformation towards excellence.
We believe you have
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field in accordance with Polish legislation
- 5 years of working experience with ideally a minimum of 4 years experience of a similar OHS role in a multinational corporation in a Production Centre or Factory setting.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) / NEBOSH certificate or other similar certificates.
- Fire safety certification in line with Polish regulations
- Experience in implementing regulatory standards in the manufacturing area.
- Thorough knowledge of Polish law in relation to health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Incident Investigation Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving.
