About the role

Be the key support to a Senior Partner and their legal team providing practice management support across client matters and business development conjunction with your team:

Proactively managing financial hygiene on client matters.
Facilitating the life cycle of client matters from matter opening electronic record keeping and closing.
Diligence in day-to-day tasks including liaising with clients and litigation document drafting support.
Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour as part of a welcoming and close team.
Excellence in your written and spoken English and communication skills is essential as you will be a touchpoint for key stakeholders and your team.

About you

You will be an energetic person who prides yourself on attention to detail excellence in service delivery and on-time service.
A background in legal administrative support especially litigation teams is desirable though not essential provided you are a keen learner.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term professional career in legal support (law students need not apply).
A team player with a proactive attitude.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities while working in a deadline driven environment.
Conscientious and discreet in relation to the highly sensitive nature of information handled by the team.
Skilled with Outlook and the Microsoft Suite to track key dates and produce high quality documentation.
Knowledge of Elite or other finance related software to manage expenses matters timesheets client billing and reporting requirements desirable.

Please note: this role is best suited to a career legal assistant and law students need not apply.
