Job Summary

We are working with a rapidly growing underground utility company in the Nashville area who is seeking a skilled Designer / Draftsman to join their team. $65000 - $75000 a year

Responsibilities

Design and draft underground utilities including fire lines domestic water sanitary sewer and storm drains

Prepare drawings for submission and as-built documentation

Perform material take-offs to support estimators in bid preparation

Collaborate with general contractors and their teams to maximize productivity

Maintain high safety standards and awareness on job sites

Communicate effectively with office and field personnel

Work overtime when required and contribute to a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

Verifiable experience in utility design (sanitary sewer water fire line storm drain)

Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Ability to read and interpret utility plans and specifications

Experience in construction coordination with general contractors & engineers

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Must pass a drug screen and background check
