We Are YSS!

YSS is hunting for a night-owl with a big heart and a quick brain to hold down the fort as our next Overnight Youth Specialist!

As our overnight pro youll be the calm trusted presence making sure clients feel safe respected and able to actually sleep through the night. When the sun comes up youll help everyone start their day on trackand keep the space running smoothly with some light cleaning and laundry.

What youll be up to:

Keeping clients safe accounted for and supported throughout the night on the 11pm-7am shift.
Modeling the kind of communication boundaries and behavior that helps folks thrive.
Handling admissions and getting paperwork squared away (not glamorous but oh-so-important).
Taking referral calls gathering info and connecting people to the right YSS or community resources.
Jumping into crisis mode with calm confidence when needed.
Logging essential client details so each shift stays in the loop.

MUST HAVES - Required Qualifications

High school diploma or higher.
Two years of related experience (the real-world kind that proves you can handle the job).
Ability to travel and transport clients as needed. For insurance purposes you must:
- Be 21 or older
- Hold a valid state-issued drivers license anda clean driving record
- Carry insurance that meets YSS standards

SHOULD HAVES - Preferred Qualifications

Strong communication skillsverbal nonverbal written and the subtle art of I see whats going on here.
Ability to collaborate with people across all backgrounds and identities.
Solid critical thinking and problem-solving chops.
Good at managing resources without wasting time energy or snacks.
Strong time-management skills (for yourself and when guiding others).
