Role Overview:
As theDuty Technicianyou will be a dynamic team member who performs various maintenance duties around the cluster of The Westin Brisbane & Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane to ensure the hotels are efficiently maintained. This role requires that all duties are conducted in a courteous safe and efficient manner ensuring that there is a consistent high level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use the Work Request System and Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Carry out all tasks guided by the Work Request System and Preventative Maintenance Program
- Clean and maintain plant rooms/workshop in proper condition.
- Work on a rotating shift as directed
- Carry out and administrate the Rooms Inspection program as per hotel Standards
- Carry out duties as directed by Chief Engineer/ Maintenance Supervisor
- Communicate to the Chief engineer/ Maintenance Supervisor on a daily basis about allocated jobs
- Anticipate guests needs through observation and offer prompt efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates
About You:
- Proven experience in Engineering/Maintenance Operations in a similar position within a multi-disciplinary organisation
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards
- Hands-on attitude and strong willingness to learn
- High attention-to-detail
