Responsibilities
Our internship program offers interns the opportunity to build finance knowledge by working closely with a team of finance professionals to assist in performing various functions such as daily financial operations tasks financial close and assisting with special projects that support the Finance team.
- Assist in performing functions within the monthly financial close process.
- Provide Financial analysis in support of Berkley Customs Financial Forecast & Plan.
- Assist with Compliance Filings.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports variance analysis and performance metrics.
- Establish strong relationships with Business Leaders supporting primary Operating functions as needed.
Qualifications
- In pursuit of a bachelors degree in finance or accounting with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Strong interpersonal communication presentation and relationship building skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a sense of urgency.
- Skilled in verbal and written communication.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Self-directed in achieving closure on deliverables.
- Collaborative and team oriented.
- Flexible and adaptive.
- Positive and creative
Must be able to be in the office at our Stamford CT location 4 days a week.
