Description:We are seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for leading large scale projects in the manufacturing shop. Projects can range in scope from establishing new manufacturing capabilities tooling up for production rate increases new technology insertion and more. This role will drive these projects from creation through execution.

Responsibilities include:
- Identify new technology opportunities that can benefit the manufacturing shop and lead testing and implementation efforts
- Manage various manufacturing projects to ensure objectives are met on time
- Drive machine connectivity to IFF in the shop and look for opportunities to better consume and act on that data
- Document standard operating procedures for technology insertion and capital equipment to transition ownership to greater shop team after implementation


Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a manufacturing engineer
- Experience with manufacturing process development
- Strong communication skills in support of cross functional coordination
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Desired Skills:
- Knowledgeable in mechanical manufacturing processes
- Experience managing projects in a shop environment and driving them from initial concept to completion
- Proven success standing up new manufacturing processes to achieve rate and quality goals
- Experience specing out justifying and implementing capital equipment

Ability to Work Remotely:Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day 3 days off per week
