Work in a national team liaising directly with the Victorian Government. Strong stakeholder engagement. High autonomy supportive manager collaborative team culture. About the division and role
Victorian Planning and Connections is accountable for planning the transmission system making network investment decisions and connecting new generators and loads in Victoria and ensuring these investments dont adversely impact the power system as a whole.
The department plays a key role in successfully navigating the energy future by determining and procuring investment in the best interest of consumers and by acting as a trusted advisor for Victorian Government.
This role provides planning and modelling expertise to the Victorian Government advising on primary and secondary technical options for major transmission projects to support safe secure and reliable supply. It includes independent work close collaboration with government and coordination of consultants and contractors as needed.
The position has the flexibility to be based out of any of our offices in Australia Brisbane Sydney Melbourne Adelaide Perth & Hobart.

Education/Certificates
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of relevant industry experience with a discipline relevant to power systems.
