Responsibilities

The Premium Audit Support Specialist supports the proper scheduling and handling of all premium audits in the group. This will involve setting appointments for auditors initiating and monitoring the mail audit process by assuring that proper letters are mailed and received data that is attached to the audit then being assigned to the appropriate auditor. Compare information received from insureds to what was requested. Send out additional document letters. Handle incoming phone calls from insureds and agents. Provide reports to various stakeholders as necessary.

  • To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Manage the mail audit process in PATS up to the point where requested data is received and the audit is then assigned to the appropriate auditor.
  • Update PATS with current audit contact information.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions provided for navigation and effective use of Genesys policy system Premium Audit Tracking System Berkley Billing system and the BPMi records systems Reference Connect and other external site rating bureaus and other system supported tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate and interface with other departments insureds and agents in resolving audit related issues.
  • Meet established production goals while maintaining high levels of quality.
  • Manage work to meet established company service standards.
  • Maintains good working relationship with lead manager associates agents and public and contributes to a cooperative work environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least one year of multi-line multi-state commercial insurance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers agents and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to keyboard by touch at 50 wpm or better.
  • Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to project a warm and friendly manner in all business contacts and maintain a professional relationship with fellow workers agency contacts and the general public.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel).
  • Must have good judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Must manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
