Your Tasks
Legal
Lead all legal activities for Beiersdorf Indonesia ensuring full compliance with local laws and alignment with global policies to safeguard the companys interests and enable business growth.
Provide strategic legal advice to management on key decisions and business initiatives.
Manage day-to-day legal matters for DC and PC entities.
Adapt and implement global and regional legal strategies at the local level.
Oversee corporate governance and act as Corporate Secretary.
Manage relationships with external legal counsel.
Ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance across all operations
Compliance
Drive Beiersdorfs compliance agenda and promote a culture of integrity across the organization.
Serve as Country Compliance Officer.
Lead local compliance risk assessments training and communication.
Monitor and report on compliance activities and incidents.
Ensure timely accurate and transparent compliance reportin
Government Relations
Enhance Beiersdorfs reputation and advocacy through effective engagement with key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government institutions and regulators.
- Represent Beiersdorf in key industry associations (e.g. EuroCham ICCA Perkosmi).
- Collaborate with ministries such as Trade Industry and Investment to support policy alignment and industry development.
- Plan and execute annual advocacy and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies and regulatory agencies.
Represent Beiersdorf in key industry associations (e.g. EuroCham ICCA Perkosmi).
Drive advocacy initiatives with ministries such as Trade Industry and Investment to support policy alignment and business growth.
Your Profile
Bachelors degree in Law; Masters degree preferred.
At least 10 years of relevant legal experience including exposure to government relations public policy or regulatory affairs.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate commercial and labor laws with understanding of relevant international legal frameworks.
Deep familiarity with Indonesias regulatory landscape and compliance requirements.
Experience engaging with industry associations and advocacy platforms.
Proven track record as in-house counsel ideally within a multinational or FMCG environment.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders and external partners on key strategic matters.
- Indonesian citizenship is required as the role involves oversight of legal and regulatory matters within Indonesia.
