Sr Advanced Embedded Software Engineer – Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Systems

This is a hybrid role 3 days at the office 2 days work from home model.

• Contribute to project planningby providing time estimates tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery of technical tasks.
• Develop and maintain embedded/application software(C C C# MATLAB) including requirements architecture coding debugging and troubleshooting.
• Design and execute tests including test cases procedures scripts and both informal and formal test runs.
• Support documentation and certificationefforts ensuring compliance with relevant standards and processes.
• Drive innovationby identifying and exploring new technologies to enable continuous improvement and performance gains.

• University education with major in Software Engineering Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• 7 years working experience as Embedded software developer/ engineer ability to code and perform code review in C. Experience or knowledge of airborne surveillance functions (TCAS Transponder UAT) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of software development processes and best practices experience with defining software architecture
• Knowledge of software configuration and change management practices with DOORS and Atlassian in communication via ethernet.
• Any of the below is a huge advantage: knowledge of commercial airborne standards including RTCA DO-178B scripting languages (e.g. Perl Python)
• Excellent command of English language
